Doctor Strange (1968)

The Ancient One maintains his sanctuary in the remote Himalayas, a place sought by the desperate and broken. Among them is Stephen Strange, a former surgeon whose damaged hands have led him to this last hope for a cure. Within the sanctum, he uncovers a conspiracy: the master’s own pupil, Baron Mordo, is actively plotting his teacher’s murder. After warning the Ancient One of the imminent betrayal, Strange’s path shifts irrevocably. He abandons his quest for physical healing and instead petitions to study the mystic arts himself, seeking a different kind of power within the teacher’s ancient library.
