Doom 2099 (1993)

In the year 2099, two Clan Zefiro gypsies, Wire and Xandra, are pursued through the streets of Antikva Vilago. Their attempt to sell stolen data is violently interrupted by a Latverian Guardsmen patrol, which eliminates their buyer from a hovering gunship. Forced to flee into the surrounding wilderness, the pair carry the volatile information with them. The incident draws immediate attention from the nation’s ruling authority, which views any breach of its data networks as a direct threat. The chase leaves a trail of scorched pavement and broken surveillance drones across the old village’s outskirts.
