Hellboy

In 1944, a secret Nazi ritual on a remote Scottish isle goes catastrophically wrong. From the resulting chaos emerges a red-skinned infant with a stone right hand. This creature, named Hellboy, is taken in by the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense. Decades later, he operates as their premier field agent, confronting the monstrous and the arcane. His latest investigation into a series of occult disturbances forces him to confront the truth of his own creation by those same Nazi occultists. The answers lie buried in the ruins of that Scottish ritual site, where his destiny as a savior or a destroyer was first written.
