Star Wars: Republic

A critical vote in the Galactic Senate has placed a Senator from a minor system in a precarious position. He now holds the decisive vote, a fact underscored by a direct threat against his life. At the insistence of Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi and his apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, are assigned to augment the Senator's personal detail of Senate Guards. The combined force of four protectors should be sufficient, but the political corridors of Coruscant are proving to be more dangerous than anticipated. The Jedi and Guards find their conventional methods tested by an adversary operating from within the system's shadows.
