Old Brother of Mutants as Magneto's cult at the Kirby days? Claremont's hippy trails? Yep, we found a kid who does not read X-Men outside the new stuff. Imagine insulting among the most important X-Men architects in history. Claremont's hippy trails? That man's writing is what made X-Men a name in the industry. Hickman WISHES he could have even a sliver of Claremont's writing talent. Imagine comparing the X-Men, who are supposed to be heroes, who are in this cult, to when Magneto, a villain, headed a cult.

"Millions of folks", LOL. The first issue sold well and it was a hundred thousand tops, now the krakoa era is crashing and burning without the collector's hype that they need to reboot it. You people think fresh takes equals completely destroying and warping the character's beyond all their morals and personalities. This is why we have people defending Spider-Man Homecoming and its awful portrayal of Peter Parker and his side cast.

I find it especially hilarious hearing new takes from someone who clearly never even read the first 30 years of X-Men now preaching for "new takes". Like lol dude, maybe read the bulk of the series framework before complaining about wanting new takes?

Nobody will remember this story in 30 years but everyone will still remember the classic days where the X-Men fought for Xavier's dream. All you Hickman X-Men fans are the same as Morrison X-Men fans, but in the end when people think of the X-Men it is Claremont's writing and stories that are the majority.

This whole Krakoa era was written by spiteful tumblr types who want to torture the bigots who tell them they should stop being weird in public. This era produced horrible garbage and slash fictions like X-Men Green or that whole Wolverine/Cyclops/Jean Grey throuple among many other awful "le creative changes".

This era ended in a huge flop, lol, and you can thank Hickman for his amazing idea of making the X-Men discount Inhumans.
