Impulse (1995)

The quiet streets of Manchester, Alabama are disrupted by the arrival of Impulse. On his first day in town, the young speedster’s curiosity leads him to a local missile testing ground, where his interference halts a scheduled launch. The incident is quickly followed by his introduction to the routines of high school, a setting that triggers fragmented memories of his own past. Later, his guardian Max Mercury confronts him about the morning’s events, prompting a return to the site. What he finds there is not an empty field, but a carefully prepared ambush waiting for him.
