JLA: Year One

A new alliance forms in the wake of a scattered alien incursion. Martian Manhunter, Green Lantern, The Flash, Black Canary, and Aquaman have each faced a piece of the Appellax threat alone. Now, drawn together to confront the final entity, they begin to see the shape of something greater. Canary shares combat wisdom with Barry Allen, while Hal Jordan and Arthur Curry test their powers alongside J'onn J'onzz. Their individual strengths start to interlock. This sudden cohesion is noted by the militarized command structure known as Locus, who must now recalculate their entire strategy against a single, unified front.
