Forty years of cosmic consumption have left the universe barren. The Marvel Zombies, having devoured entire worlds, now drift back toward a forgotten Earth. Their hunger is an engine that has run out of fuel. What they find upon their return is not a feast, but a civilization rebuilt in their absence. A new society has risen from the ashes, one that has prepared for this homecoming. The survivors are armed with the bitter knowledge of what these former heroes became. The confrontation is not a battle for territory, but a final, desperate clash between the last living and the eternally starving.
