Nightwing: The Target (2001-)

A murder charge has been leveled against Dick Grayson, forcing him to abandon his Nightwing identity under Batman's direct order. To operate outside the law and clear his name, Grayson has adopted a new, more aggressive persona: The Target. This shift in tactics brings him into conflict with both the criminal underworld and the established heroes of Gotham City. His investigation is complicated by personal entanglements and the constant threat of arrest. The rain-slicked rooftops and neon-lit alleys serve as his new hunting grounds, a stark contrast to the structured patrols of his former life.
