Spawn/WildC.A.T.s (1996)

A pair calling themselves Grifter and Zealot ambush Spawn in a city alley, then vanish. His pursuit leads him to the WildC.A.T.s headquarters, where he confronts their own versions of the two operatives. The fight reveals a critical discrepancy: these are not his attackers. The true assailants soon materialize, revealing themselves as time-displaced duplicates from a grim future. This future Grifter, accompanied by a different Zealot, warns that Spawn will one day seize global control after obtaining a powerful talisman. Under the guidance of Void, an uneasy alliance forms, and the group prepares to cross the temporal breach to witness this dark prophecy firsthand.
