Stitched (2011-)

Three American soldiers survive a crash in the Afghan mountains, stranded far from their unit. The Taliban control the valley below, but the greater threat emerges from the caves above. They are stalked by shambling, relentless figures—stitched together from the dead. These creatures are not insurgents. They are something older, a primal violence given form in the high-altitude cold. The survivors must navigate a landscape where every rock and shadow hides a new, unnatural enemy, fighting a war on two fronts with dwindling ammunition. The wind carries the smell of rot and cordite.
