The Maxx (1993-1998)

A large, purple figure in a trench coat emerges from a cardboard box to intervene in an assault. The Maxx is taken into custody by the police, who see only a homeless man. His detention leaves the woman he protected, Julie Winters, exposed. Her reality is already fractured, a condition exploited by the predatory Mr. Gone. The line between the grimy city streets and a savage, internal landscape called The Outback is dangerously thin. For Julie, the threat is no longer just in the alleyways but within the very fabric of her perception, where Mr. Gone holds significant influence.
