Crossed: Get Infected (2012)

The Crossed have already taken the highways, the hospitals, the schools. Their infected faces press against the glass of boarded-up windows across the continent. A single C-Day survivor watches from a rooftop, counting the bonfires that mark the spread of the disease. The infected do not speak; they only laugh and mimic the screams of the dying. The last radio broadcasts have gone silent. The only sounds left are the wet tearing of flesh and the rhythmic thumping of a body being dragged down a staircase. The world has become a single, open wound.
