Death in Trieste (2025)

The Dadaists of 1920s Berlin are performing their absurdist rituals in the cabarets, drawing together a strange collection of figures. David Bowie, a time-traveler, crosses paths with Rasputin, Nosferatu, and Marlene Dietrich in the city's smoky backrooms. Meanwhile, a pair of wisecracking detectives in "The Magritte Affair" navigate a trail of art forgeries and masked men through the surrealist landscapes of the Belgian painter. Elsewhere, the New Wave artists of the 1980s operate as a supergroup, dispatching living mummies and animated suits of armor. A giant meteorite now hurtles toward Earth, and the city's streets remain filled with the sound of broken glass.
