The Maxx: Maxximized (2013)

A homeless wanderer lives in a box and shifts between our reality and a heroic fantasy realm known as The Outback. In the ordinary world, this figure is joined by Julie Winters, a social worker who, in The Outback, appears as a jungle princess. Their lives intertwine as help and companionship pass between two very different existences, with the border between worlds never fully fixed.

This remastered edition preserves Sam Kieth’s distinctive art and storytelling, presenting revised coloring and new scans overseen by the creator. The Maxx follows the unusual partnership between the protagonist and Julie Winters as they navigate the double life between street reality and the Outback’s adventurous landscape.
