Badlands (2014)

Set at the end of the 19th century, Perla Ruiz-Tenguillo leads a small band of adventurers across the southern regions of North America. Their quest is to trace the footsteps of an ancestor, the alchemist Hernan Ruiz-Tenguillo, and to uncover a hidden realm that the indigenous world venerates.

This invisible world, kept out of sight by white settlers to shield its powers, remains elusive behind the edge of reality. Perla hopes to rediscover this supernatural universe that lies beyond the final frontier, where ships of wind and spirit travel far from the splendors of the earth.
