Frankly very frustrating serie. Seven years, several spin offs, and the setting still feels barely introduced. And more importantly, not much clue about any way to fix the very depressing premise. We're following monster hunters for an Order mostly concerned with keeping the monsters' existence secret or else it would create too many monsters to handle. So instead of saving people, kids, all witnesses must be disposed of too.

Seriously, this is just soul-crushing and almost pointless maintenance, apparently done for centuries with no urgency to find a better way.

The pace is glacial, I wish we got some answers, some foundations of the Order being shaken already. The monster of the week nature of most arcs hinder that, so it would be nice if their resolutions were satisfying but that's not allowed.

I'd recommend waiting to see if this unbearable build up pays off in a few decades before reading.

This "All her monsters" arc has made me cry multiple times now😭 !
