📖 read 103 ch. ★ 5/5Ennis might be a deep misanthrope, or at least he invites us to wonder if he is. It's hard not to see this universe that brings out the worst in Crossed and uninfected alike. I particularly enjoyed the arcs written by Max Bemis (I only knew him from his music previously) and like many others was intrigued by Smokey's story. I disagree that this is purely gorenography as such. We see human beings challenged to survive in so many contexts. There are complex relationships and intermingled stories here. A worthy Book.
