Hellboy Winter Special (2017)

In 1890s London, the occult investigator Edward Grey and the formidable Sarah Jewell navigate a city stalked by unnatural forces. Decades later, a routine assignment in 1980s New England draws Hellboy, Abe Sapien, and Liz Sherman into a forest where a malevolent, grieving presence has claimed several children. The entity’s anguish proves to be a tangible, spreading sickness. Meanwhile, a separate incident from the 1950s reveals an earlier, formative case for the young Hellboy, hinting at a darker pattern to his lifelong battles. Each era carries the distinct chill of its own season, marked by frost on stone and the weight of old wood.
