The device's alien DNA library is already corrupting his summer vacation, forcing the ten-year-old to master forms like Heatblast and Four Arms while dodging his cousin Gwen's suspicious glances. A new breed of threat emerges from the crash site—Vilgax's scouts are already tracking the signal, their organic ships burrowing into the town's sewer system. Ben's transformations are unstable, the Omnitrix glitching at critical moments. The rusted metal of the alien gauntlet feels heavier with each failed morph.

For a series that's supposed to be a slightly more serious *Ben 10* reboot, I don't really see any huge differences so far compared to the original series.The characters have pretty... let's say *normal* dialogue for their age, but their reactions are still a bit unrealistic given the gravity of the situation. I'm not asking for a psychological drama either, but for now, we're far from what I was expecting.The action is a bit sluggish especially considering we're over 90 pages in and already three issues deep, but not a lot has actually happened. So, we're still left waiting to see what's going to go down, and I have a feeling this will be the pacing for the whole series.I think I'd rather wait until issue 6, or even 7 or 8, before continuing the series. For now, I'm going to hold off, because waiting a week or two for just one issue where not much happens... well, it's not super engaging.Still, there's a chance it might improve. Despite the flaws I just mentioned plus the artwork, which isn't particularly pleasing, we can only hope that at least the storyline really takes off.

This comic is really good. It gives you a good brief of what the omnitrix dose and where it came from. This comic series just needs to have better art. Five stars. This is a very good series. When is issue four coming out?

Ben 10 come back babyyy I really have high hopes for this one and really liked the new direction it's old and new at the same time like it's the old story redone and refreshed man of action really showed the original idea for the series and I'm in love with it waiting to see what happens next

I really want to be into this comic but the dialogue is so off sometimes. In issue #3 when Karab is about to kill Ben he says "Go ahead then... I did the best I could". What do you mean a 10 year old is okay with dying? What is this writing?

the fights continue to feel very underwhelming. not enough being conveyed in terms of motion, weight, impact, and like there's missing panels between much of the action. Gwen continues to look like a different character every time she appears with no consistent facial structure and even Ben is getting less consistent. Diamondhead was the best thing of this comic so far, a design that respects the original and evolves in a way that suits it.

Some complaints:

Kraab goes from holding up some machinery, to the next panel where it's thrown but he's in the exact same pose without any visual indication of him moving his arms.

Diamondhead is on the ground, and next panel he has punched Kraab, without any middle panel to show him getting up or any build up to the punch.

on page 17, the bottom two panels are either drawn by two different people with limited knowledge of the other, or they're possibly Ai assisted. Fourarms' top two hands are holding onto nothing in the left panel while his bottom two hands are holding separate legs, but in the right panel both his bottom two hands are on the same leg while his top two hands are on another leg. i doubt any comic artist would make such a continuity mistake in panels next to one another, much less a professional comic artist. (also that right panel as a whole is such a terrible panel)
