Providence (2015-)

At first I was concerned when every chapter had references to Lovecrafts work directly but they tie it in pretty neatly.

Not a bad story honestly.

I sugest reading Neonomicon first, as this story is both a prequel and sequel to it, the last books can be a bit confusing without that context.

This series is a love letter to Lovecraft, if you are familiar with his work (not just The Call of Cthulhu) than it will be even better, there are callbacks to most of his work and works of other Mythos writers and influences like Ambrose Bierce and Robert Chambers.

it is also very mature, so if sex, abuse, and all kinds of violence get to you than do not read it.

If you don't mind, than it is a great story, with fantastic art, extreme attention to detail, and very well researched.

Moore is a bit too focused on sexuality, but he has always been, but he wolves it well in the narrative so is not too distracting, but I would suggest not reading it in the office or some of the pages might be hard to explain.

My suggestions, first read Neonomicon, than this.

A lot of these are easy to find (cheap with some free on the internet, all have audiobooks on youtube), and they all make the story better, if you love the Cthulhu Mythos than you can't help but love this book.
