New X-Men (2004)

A new semester begins at the Xavier Institute, now under the direct oversight of Cyclops and Emma Frost. Their first major policy shift sends a shock through the student body: the New X-Men are to be formally separated into distinct training squads. This administrative decision threatens to sever the hard-won bonds between friends who have only just begun to trust one another. The halls of the mansion, once a place of relative stability under Professor X, now hum with a tense, divided energy. The young mutants must navigate this new structure while their instructors enforce a colder, more tactical vision for their education.
