The Transformers (1984-1991)

The Ark lies dormant in the side of a dormant volcano, its hull breached and its crew in stasis. Optimus Prime and his Autobots remain offline, unaware of the world that has grown around their crashed vessel. Across the planet, Megatron and his Decepticons stir from their own slumber, their systems rebooting to the unfamiliar energy signatures of a new world. The ancient conflict between these two factions is now transplanted to a planet of steel and concrete, where every cityscape is a potential battleground. The war for Cybertron has found a new, organic theater.
