He now files reports for The Word, a major newspaper in this 23rd-century metropolis. His work is a direct assault on the city's surreal injustices and political hypocrisies. Armed with a bowel disruptor and two loyal assistants, he navigates streets filled with transgenic citizens, advertising cults, and manufactured reality. Every broadcast from his filthy apartment is a targeted strike against the smiling corruption of the establishment. The air tastes like static and cheap stimulants.
