Kara Zor-El drifts through a Metropolis that sees her only as an echo of her famous cousin. Her purpose, once tied to a protection duty long since rendered obsolete, has dissolved into quiet frustration. This stasis is shattered by the arrival of Ruthye, the sole survivor of a shattered world. The girl carries a singular, burning directive: vengeance against those who destroyed her home. With only her dog, Krypto, for company, Kara agrees to accompany the furious child into the cold reaches of deep space. Their ship cuts a lonely path across the void, two survivors bound by a grim and unfamiliar purpose.

Seriously just an incredible comic, peak art, peak story, I even bought the compact comic! So sad they made her younger than Kal in the movie and missed out so much ngl. Maybe I should have watched the movie first lol

I like Supergirl The Movie 2026. Supergirl did number one in front of everyone and was drunk and high after smoking and drinking. Supergirl made a touche story in the middle. Lobo is a rip off of Wolverine.

its so so so so good i could genuinely shed a tear. the movie is a decent watch on its own but in terms of Adapting this comic it really dropped the ball. the colors and shapes in this comic are so vibrant and alive and each moment of supergirl extending her compassion to others made my heart hurt. i'd rate this fifty stars if i could

Beautiful comic series, glad to call it my first DC comic. Reading it because I’m going to see Supergirl when it’s on streaming (i’ve been spending too much money on the theatre already). I really like how the comic goes into the character of supergirl, her past and her moral compass. It shows she is different than Clark, but she is absolutely Supergirl.

  yeah so i didn't like it, unfortunately. makes some very odd adaptation choices and overall just not as well put together as i would have liked it to be. oh well
