Alpha Flight (1983)

A new government-sanctioned team, Alpha Flight, has been activated across the Canadian wilderness. Their first operational directive is a confrontation with the geological entity known as Tundra, a man-mountain whose emergence threatens entire regions. The team’s members, each possessing unique and volatile powers, are forced to coordinate under extreme pressure. Their cohesion is tested against an enemy that reshapes the very landscape. This initial engagement will determine if the unit can function as a whole or fracture under the weight of its own disparate strengths. The outcome settles nothing for their long-term future.
