Batman Beyond [I]

The neon-drenched streets of Neo-Gotham are patrolled by a new, younger Batman. Terry McGinnis operates in the high-tech suit, guided by the reclusive Bruce Wayne from the shadows of the Wayne Manor bunker. Their partnership is a tense, remote affair, with Bruce's tactical commands delivered through static-filled comms. Terry's methods are more aggressive and improvisational than his mentor's, a fact that causes constant friction. The city's criminal element, from corporate-funded enforcers to street-level cyber-gangs, is adapting to this unfamiliar, unpredictable vigilante. The air in the cave is cold, filled only with the hum of monitors and the echo of a distant siren.
