Amazing story, great dialogues, amazing art, and amusing action!! It's my first-ever run, and I couldn't have chosen anything better to start with. Amazing plot-twists.. and character building ugh i loved it

Started off as probably one of the best Spider-Man series ever written, but then mid-way through you can feel that there were sudden compromises made by the editorials at Marvel that Jonathan Hickman had to rush some plot points by giving sudden time jumps to move the progress the story. But Hickman is an amazing writer, despite all that bullshit with the editors, at least he knows how to make those rushed plot points decently work for the story without feeling forced.
Marco Checcetto's artwork is always a welcome sight in my eyes in any comic books, so having him doing the pencils for most of the series is a massive plus.
This series came out concurrently with Zeb Wells' TASM run, and reading this feels like slurping a nice flavorful smoothie after chewing a bowl of undercooked and unseasoned dish.

Best Spider-Man written anything in the past decade. Even with the evident effects of editorial interference, it’s a pretty great read for fans of the character with some clever writing along with some funny personal drama.

Maybe the best piece of late I read of Spider-Man. Hickman has such a care and respect for Peter, his character, his strugles, his legacy. And it was great to see old faces and new faces with a different spin.

Well, it's time to give final opinion about new ultimate spidey and honestly, I'm happy how it ended. Sure, it was nowhere nearly as good as the old one, but it wasn't as bad as some people claim it to be, there is wasted potential, but overall it was a decent story with new fresh take on Spider-Man. It's shame that it ended so soon, I give it a solid 7/10. Totally recommended

Its the crowning gem of the last 3 years of spider-man, which isn't saying much. You can tell this was cut short as, just like Ultimate Xmen, they tee'd up a lot of future plot threads only for them to go untouched.

Sad it’s over, but this was one of the best series I’ve read and has gotta be the best Spider-Man interpretation in at least a decade. Absolute peak.

To think this started with so much potential, only to end in such a DISAPPOINTING way.
So many plot threads that lead to NOTHING, so many characters with the personality of cardboards... God, what a waste this was...

Loved it, did i wish it could've went a little longer yeah, but then again i suppose it's smart to end something good before it overstays it's welcome. 100/10 Would read again in a heartbeat

The ending was great. Did i want it to continue for longer? Of course, but i think hickman made do with what he had and created a great story out of it
