A permanent, violent rift has formed between Bruce Banner and the Hulk within their shared body. This internal war coincides with a global uprising of every monster in the world, orchestrated by a mysterious immortal. Their goal is to unleash the Mother of Horrors, a primordial entity whose freedom would mean an end to all light. To face this dual threat, Banner is forced into an uneasy alliance with a new, unlikely companion. Their desperate effort is a race against the spreading darkness, both within and across the planet's besieged cities.

i hated this run and i blame hulk 2021 because that was already confusing then they follow up with this bs it seems like after immortal hulk they just stop caring like why would bruce ever lock up hulk in his mind after immortal hulk where its literally shown that together bruce intelligence and hulk strength is unstoppable all the great moments of hulk and bruce bonding savage hulk joe fixit devil hulk what was the point of any of that i think the best way to describe post immortal hulk is the writers didn't understand or care for immortal hulk and just wrote what they felt like which i wouldn't care about IF it was good and its not its confusing it's stupid and it honestly sad and what the hell is this ending idgaf about infernal hulk bring back the different hulks bring back hulk and bruce helping each other and talking about their problems instead of the shouting matches what happened to savage hulk being a kid i don't even know what hulk this is please fix this

That’s exactly how I feel, all of that character development and amazing storytelling and potential, all just to be wasted for literally no reason

Seriously?? That's how it ends?!? All that build-up for just: "Oh, yeah, Banner is no longer the Hulk, enjoy the All-New Infernal Hulk that nobody asked for. You wanted the Green Scar to come back? TOO FUCKING BAD!!"

    FUCKING. LAME.

There are bad comics, like Loeb's run and even Cates's depressing one, but this one, this one is worse than bad, calling it bad would even be an insult to bad comics, this one is despicable and only sustains itself by surfing on the Immortal Hulk. This poor writer, who can't put himself in his place and clearly doesn't like the character and only writes him to make money, is the most pathetic person I've ever seen to write a Hulk run. Ignoring Stan Lee, the creator of the work, this poor (absurdly weird) militant tries to infuse his culture that aims to serve minorities, yes, in the first issue, we are introduced to the Eldest, who is actually a woman with her two lackeys, a white man and a black man, the petty story of a spoiled teenager who ran away from home and who stuck next to a Hulk who, the issues clearly show, is more like a poor homeless wretch, something that would reference Brazil, in the sad situation that this country lives thanks to communism, the red plague, which deeply affected this country, more than the others. Anyway, the writer doesn't know which direction to take, but he still insists on creating poorly made monsters to promote them in Marvel, having won an Eisner for Action & Comics for what he did with Superman, in Hulk, he is only writing to fulfill Marvel's agenda, since they don't like Joe Bennett (the greatest artist Hulk has had at the moment) and use that weird German Nic Klein to replicate him. While Immortal Hulk has conquered its space with its more than deserved success, this woke shit and carbon copy of Immortal Hulk, is all that Marvel has done post-Immortal, making Hulk an uninteresting character.

I think the only thing I can agree with you on is that the writer doesn’t know which direction to take. Otherwise, leave the political garbage out of it

It's not a matter of agreement, but rather that this goes beyond a lack of direction. The woke he promotes has gone beyond the monsters he claimed to inspire; it's a run where the Hulk and horror are there under false pretenses, when in reality, these are experiences from this writer's life, including his ideology, that he puts into the story. Nothing he's done is reliable or credible, and his shallow knowledge of the character further undermines it. Any company that values respect would have already replaced him and rebooted this.

why do you try so hard to read between the line and not just read the story for what it is. The teenage girl representing brazil. wtf is that?

You remind me of this girl from english class who thought a bibliography was a way for the author to express her view on the culture. For god sake its a bibliography.

Just stop the between the line bs cause its stupid.

Yeah. I think I am over this. Hulk as a supernatural force is being beaten like an old carpet.

Following up Immortal Hulk is a hard task, but this comic has done the impossible: following up on what came before, while giving the story a new identity of it's own!

Edit: Are the rest of you in this comment section MAD?! This run has been great!

Easily the best Hulk story in years. Phillip Kennedy Johnson and the various artists’s work on this run has been nothing short of incredible
