What If half of Peter's friends fucked him over by lying to his face and leaving him there to slowly die without ever mentioning that they kept the thing he so desperately needed?

Sequel hook at the end that they have no intent to follow up on. Boo. That’s cruel.
Also, that radiation poisoning thing is LESS grounded and realistic. Radioactive contamination doesn’t last forever. Peter doesn’t get his powers from an ongoing presence of radiation, he gets it from a genetic mutation caused by radiation exposure. Him developing radiation poisoning despite it having been years since he was exposed is patently ridiculous. Now, if it had been /cancer/ that would have been a different story and indeed a more realistic outcome…

More Miles shilling from Marvel. "the (Spider-man) mantle wasn't mine to take up in this place". If we apply that logic Miles shouldn't be Spider-man in 616 then.

    Hey this comic implied Peter couldn't keep the mantle because it wasn't his universe. I'm only mirroring the writer's hypocritical take.
    And it it can pass 50 years and people still would be allowed to dislike Miles. Are you that insecure that you need everyone approving your little fictional character?

There are many things I wanted to see, The interactions between 616 Peter and Ultimate Peter and Jessica Drew for example, where are they Ultimate Peter should have already resurrected, he resurrected a few days after Miles became The New Spider-Man,

Also Peter is dying of Radiations and they didn't try removing those radiations or using stuff like The Ultimate Symbiote or The Ultimate Oz-Serum!?
The Ultimate Symbiote origins was that it was supposed to be the Ultimate Cure and Ultimate Oz-Serum is what stabilizes The Radioactive Spider-DNA for the Ultimate Spider-Totems,
(That's also what allowed Ultimate Peter to be cloned)

Worst part of this one is that it's just an One-Shot. I'd love to see Peter's Ultimate initiative after everything that happened in this one in a 4 or 6 issues run...
