Innocent people and world leaders are dead. Simultaneous attacks on the U.S. and Krakoan governments have created a state of emergency, with false-flag operations designed to incite widespread anti-mutant hysteria. In response, Steve Rogers assembles a new team: Captain America, Rogue, Deadpool, Quicksilver, Psylocke, and Monet. Their immediate mission is to identify the figure behind the mask of the murderous Captain Krakoa and dismantle his squad of assassins before their actions escalate into a global conflict. The investigation leads them through a web of political sabotage where every clue points toward a deliberate, orchestrated war.
