Litterbug

Litterbug is a mutant character from Marvel Comics, associated with the Morlocks, a community of outcast mutants. He first appeared in Morlocks #1 in 2002, created by Geoff Johns, Shawn Martinbrough, and Gregory Wright. Litterbug's powers manifested after he joined the Army, leading to his transformation into a cockroach-like form.

As a Morlock, Litterbug embodies the struggles of marginalized mutants. He possesses superhuman strength, speed, agility, and stamina, coupled with a chitinous exoskeleton that grants him near invulnerability. His sharp claws and teeth are formidable weapons, though his mutation hampers his ability to speak clearly. Litterbug also has a deep understanding of Sentinels, having worked on them during his time in the military, which adds to his significance within the mutant community.

Major Versions and Incarnations

Litterbug remained one of the few mutants to retain his powers post-M-Day, showcasing his resilience. Within the Chicago Morlock community, he has taken on a more rebellious stance against the American government, as evidenced by his actions rejecting the military and seeking assistance to remove his Army tattoo.
