Korg is a Kronan warrior from Marvel Comics, first appearing in *The Stone Men From Saturn!* (#83) in 1963, created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. Originally part of an invasion fleet that attempted to conquer Earth, he was among the Kronans repelled by Thor. Korg's significance lies in his transformation from a nameless invader to a key ally of the Hulk during the *Planet Hulk* storyline, where he became a member of the Warbound.

In the *Planet Hulk* saga, Korg crash-landed on the planet Sakaar, where he survived as a gladiator. He formed a strong bond with the Hulk while fighting for their freedom. Korg later faced significant trauma, including the forced killing of his own brother, who succumbed to the effects of an obedience disk. Throughout the *World War Hulk* arc, Korg remained loyal to Hulk but voiced concerns about their violent methods against Earth's heroes.
After the events of *World War Hulk*, Korg continued to support his fellow Warbound, navigating complex challenges and moral dilemmas in the aftermath of their actions.
